Anthony Alexander always had a passion for clothing. For him, dressing had always been an escape and a way to explore while setting himself apart from the typical crowd. Unlike most of his peers, during his junior year in high school, Anthony ventured out and began to dress in styles from brands, such as: Calvin Klein, Perry Ellis, and Gap. Intrigued by the stories spoken through the advertisement, Anthony found a passion that would stick with him through early adulthood.

On September 9, 2008, Anthony Alexander suffered a blow that would change his life forever. His son, Anthony Alexander Roberts, at five months old, passed due to HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome). Left confused about life, Anthony was certain about one thing, tomorrow isn't promised. He began searching for ways to make his passion for lifestyle storytelling and clothing come to life. In the process, he stumbled across a picture of Alice in Wonderland holding a flamingo as a mallet. Curious about its artistic inspiration, he dug deeper into its background and discovered the world of croquet. He quickly became fascinated with the sports rich culture and adopted the flamingo as the staple logo for Croquet Anthony Alexander.
